Shanghai Protests

ssshhh.. these things don't happen in China. In fact everyone here is completely content and perfectly happy. Well at least according to their government.

These people are simply pretending that the local government didn't listen to them or care about their protests regarding a new construction project that went up across the street. Due to its immense size the new project will completely block their view of the sky as well as preventing any sunlight from hitting their once sun-drenched apartments.

Shanghai South Train Station

While in Shanghai last we took a trip down to Hangzhou leaving from Shanghai South train station. The station reminds me of an alien spaceship, not that I've been on one or have anything to compare it to but still.. really its like an alien spaceship.

3 minutes of Silence

While in Shanghai China recognized the victims of the Sichuan earthquake with a nationwide 3 minutes of silence. At the time I was on a subway, everyone on the subway stopped, stood silently and waited until the 3 minutes passed.

Can you tell that I'm not much of a blogger? no... time..
