My CV:Curriculum Vitae

I call myself a professional geek because I do not focus on any specific area of the IT industry. I have worked as a System Administrator, Network administrator, Systems analyst, Programmer, Consultant, and Instructor. I love working in all of these capacities and I have very few regrets with any of my past positions. Although working is about obtaining money for your time and skills there is something more about it. You must enjoy the work you're doing, for me that enjoyment comes about when I give something back.

Ultimately my work philosophy is what leads me to be a strong advocate of Open Source Software (OSS). I use OSS tools and software whenever/wherever possible and the open structure of content, I believe, is crucial to the long-term success of any company, community or society. I strongly prefer, and in some cases insist, on working on GPLed (or similarly licensed) projects and subsequently releasing my work back into the community.

Unfortunately it is difficult to concisely list everything that I have done in my career. The following should, however, give you a general idea of where my skills and talents lie.
