Vietnam

I normally shy away from politics on my blog but I don't think this is a political issue. As everyone knows today was the deadliest day in Iraq (37 U.S. soldiers died), which is interesting especially since the war has been "officially" over for quite some time now. I have but one comment and I know that I'm going to get some nice emails and comments for this.

When I am reading about the war in Iraq why do I feel like I'm reading about the Vietnam war?
For those of you that will write to me just please keep this in mind. Explain the difference between this war and the Vietnam war as explained to the American people?by the President of the United States of America. The similiarity between the two wars is eery and I hope, I truly hope that the outcome is much better than the outcome of Vietnam.
